ALEZAN – the first paper with a genuine leather touch

With ALEZAN, Gmund presents the first fine paper collection which actually feels like genuine leather. This sensation is reached by a special surface furnished with an original leather embossing as known from the leather trade.

ALEZAN comes in two surfaces. Developing a completely new technique, Gmund has created “wild” with a genuine leather feeling. At the same time, “cult” is the identical paper with a smoother, more cultivated surface.

Ten warm shades make up a varied colour range with orange and green especially standing out. These two shades will now be introduced by Gmund as new trend colours into the Design Community. The complete range comes in “wild” and “cult” as 300g/m² paper. The lighter shades are also available in 100, 135 and 200 g/m² as “cult”. That makes ALEZAN perfectly suited as high end business communication paper.

The darker shades make up luxurious cards or come beautifully as covers of noble business reports. ALEZAN is the choice every time you want to reach attention without being too dazzling. Printing on the “wild” surface is a challenge to an expert printer. The smoother version “cult”, however, does not provide bigger problems in printing.

Standard envelopes are available in all lighter shades in “cult”. Furthermore, ALEZAN offers envelopes in a more spacious format. They come in all colours in “cult” with a coloured lining as special effect.
